Studio Cluster in Mechelen operates as a convergence point for specialty coffee, natural wine, and contemporary art within an eighteenth-century townhouse. Located in the former De Groote Engel building, the venue presents a bright interior anchored by a distinctive yellow bar. Current exhibitions feature work by Kaat Lens and Josse Keppens, reinforcing the project's identity as both a gallery and a hospitality destination. Visitors engage with rotating visual displays alongside a program that treats food and drink as integral parts of the cultural experience.

The Menu and the Counter

The kitchen delivers a concise selection of small plates designed to complement the natural wine focus. Offerings include ricotta paired with anchovy and grated egg yolk, providing a rich texture that balances the acidity of the beverages. Hand-cut steak tartare sits alongside vegetarian options such as burrata served with zucchini and wild garlic oil. Freshly baked sourdough arrives with whipped shallot butter, rounding out a menu that shifts according to seasonal availability. Thomas Hunter manages the beverage station behind the counter, pulling double espressos from a Marzocco machine to satisfy the morning crowd.

Lore Horré curates a cellar dedicated to natural and minerally wines that align with the venue's aesthetic. Pourings feature selections like a Silex white from Jacky Preys and pét-nats from Czech producer Vinařství Tři Čtvrtě. The service approach encourages guests to explore distinct terroirs while browsing the latest gallery installations. Open Thursday through Saturday and on the first Sunday of each month, the space maintains a relaxed rhythm that invites lingering conversation.
