The story
Perched on the heights of the La Plante district in Namur, Attablez-vous is the project of chef Charles Jeandrain and his wife. Over a decade ago, they opened the restaurant with a clear ambition: to serve a sincere, living cuisine that respects its ingredients. More than twelve years on, that philosophy remains the foundation of everything they do.
Jeandrain began his apprenticeship at just fourteen, working in kitchens across Belgium. Those early years shaped his approach—hands-on, rigorous, and shaped by the seasons. At Attablez-vous, that experience translates into modern French cuisine that balances playful ideas with timeless flavours. The cooking is precise, driven by a deep respect for the product and a constant desire to evolve.
The dining rooms reflect that same care. Light-filled by day and softly lit in the evening, the spaces are contemporary and elegant, with flowering trees adding a natural touch. At the heart of the restaurant, a striking cheese cave signals the importance of that course—a point of pride here. The team in the dining room is attentive, led by a maître d’hôtel and a sommelier who knows how to pair wines that deserve discovery.
The recognition has followed. Attablez-vous holds a Michelin star for high-quality cooking, alongside a 16/20 rating from Gault&Millau and their Prix Plaisir Wallonie. In 2025, the restaurant was also named Cheese Experience of the Year, a nod to the care lavished on that part of the meal.
Jeandrain’s food is built on the seasons, on precise technique, and on the pleasure of sharing a meal. The message from the kitchen is simple: consider this house your own, for a moment. Let the team guide you, and let the cooking speak for itself.
