The story
Tucked at the corner of rue François Guisol and rue Bonaparte, Les Agitateurs is a small, authentic restaurant with jasmine and wisteria climbing its façade. The setting is intimate, close to the port of Nice, between sea and mountains, a stone’s throw from the Italian border. The restaurant describes itself as having “one foot in the garrigue, the other in the Mediterranean, eyes on the horizon” – a poetic summary of its culinary identity.
Les Agitateurs earned a Michelin star in 2026 for its high-quality cooking. The kitchen draws on the flavours of the Provençal scrubland and the Mediterranean, working with local producers to create dishes that reflect the terroir. The restaurant’s name means “the agitators” – a nod to its philosophy of shaking up conventions and moving lines. The team, led by Juliette and Samuel, brings this spirit to every plate.
Beyond the dining room, Les Agitateurs offers personalised services: a private chef experience that brings a Michelin-starred meal to your home, wedding catering, and exclusive dinners where multiple chefs collaborate. The restaurant also operates sister concepts – Pirouette, a neo-bistro focused on simple, travel-inspired cuisine, and Sous les Pins, a café-restaurant at the Fondation Maeght art foundation. But at its heart, Les Agitateurs remains a place where elegance meets the wild beauty of the Côte d’Azur, one plate at a time.
