The story
For more than two decades, Stéphane and his team have made Le Divil a reference point for meat lovers in Perpignan. The restaurant specialises in aged meat and wood-fire grills, prepared on an open hearth at the centre of the dining room. The atmosphere is convivial, warm, and family-oriented, with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients at the core of every dish.
Le Divil’s reputation for carnivorous excellence has been recognised by the Guide Michelin, which recommended the restaurant in 2018. The establishment is also a Maître Restaurateur and holds the Qualité Sud de France label. Its wine cellar boasts more than 450 references, carefully chosen to accompany the grilled meats.
The cuisine is built around meat cooked over charcoal, with an emphasis on exceptional cuts and dry-aged preparations. Everything is made in-house. The restaurant offers private dining options, air conditioning, wheelchair access, and outdoor seating, making it suitable for a range of occasions, from intimate dinners to private parties.
Located on Rue Fabriques-d'en-Nabot in central Perpignan, Le Divil is open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. It remains a steadfast address for those seeking serious, wood-fired meat in a welcoming setting.
