The story
At the entrance of Yvoire’s medieval old town, with Lake Léman as a backdrop, Le Pré de la Cure is a hotel-restaurant that combines contemporary comfort with timeless views. The panoramic terraces and flower-filled gardens invite guests to linger, while inside the décor is clean and modern. Amélie and Olivier and their team oversee the experience with a personal touch.
The kitchen’s market-driven cooking earned Le Pré de la Cure a Michelin Recommendation. The set menus—at €41 and €52—evolve with the seasons but consistently highlight local ingredients. Starters might include trout rillettes with cucumber and tzatziki, or piquillos peppers stuffed with spiced tuna. Main courses feature lake fish such as pan-fried perch with lemon butter or grilled gilthead bream with mushroom fricassee, alongside duckling filet or Scottish lamb with herb crust and gratin savoyard. A vegetarian dish is always offered. Desserts range from brownies with mascarpone and coffee ice cream to a pistachio financier with caramel ice cream. Farm cheeses from La Ferme du Noyer are a staple.
The restaurant’s position in Yvoire, a medieval village on the shores of Lake Geneva, shapes its identity. Fish comes directly from the lake, vegetables from the garden, and the wine list complements the regional focus. The dining room and terrace both offer views of the water and the surrounding mountains.
Le Pré de la Cure is part of a three-star hotel with a heated pool, sauna, and hammam. The restaurant is closed on Thursdays and for an annual winter closure (reopening March 27, 2026). The €41 menu is not available Saturday evenings or Sunday lunch. Reservations are recommended.
