The story
Breakers Beach House sits directly on the sand, overlooking the Noordwijk coastline. The design is inspired by American Long Beach and elegant Victorian style, resulting in a light, warm, and welcoming interior. Large windows frame the sea, and in summer the southwest-facing terrace becomes the place to be. In winter, the open fireplace creates a cozy refuge.
Chef Mitchell Hendriks and his team focus on pure, refined, and surprising dishes, with a special emphasis on seafood. The menu changes with the seasons, and guests can choose a carefully curated tasting experience: a 4, 5, or 6-course chef’s menu, available until 8.30 p.m. The kitchen’s commitment to sustainability underpins every plate – healthy, delicious, and responsible.
While the classic cuisine is grounded in technique, the setting elevates every meal. Restaurant manager Morgan Davidson brings years of hospitality experience, ensuring that whether you’re celebrating an intimate dinner for two or a wedding for 100 guests, the service is warm and seamless. The team calls it “Holland’s Finest Beach House” – a title backed by consistent praise from guests.
Breakers Beach House has earned a Michelin Recommended award for 2026, a recognition of its exceptional location, skilled cooking, and genuine hospitality. It’s a place where the sound of the sea, the changing light, and the precision of the kitchen come together naturally.
