At the Hotel Okura Manila, Yamazato is the signature Japanese fine dining restaurant. The restaurant's philosophy is straightforward: serve only the freshest ingredients to ensure supreme taste and unmatched quality. That commitment has earned it a place in the 2026 Michelin Guide, where it is one of only three Yamazato restaurants worldwide to be recognized.
The dining experience here is built around precision and tradition. Guests can choose from several settings: a private teppanyaki dining room, where the chef's skills are on full display, or the sushi counter, available Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner. Both require at least one day's advance notice, though walk-ins are welcome subject to availability.
The menu offers a range of options, including seasonal kaiseki, obento, à la carte, and specialty menus for teppanyaki, shabu shabu, and sushi. The dress code is smart casual — no beachwear, cargo shorts, or flip-flops. Smoking is not permitted.
