The story
Vinum sits within the Gran Hotel Mas d’en Bruno in Torroja del Priorat, near Falset. The restaurant’s interior is warm and inviting, while two outdoor terraces open onto panoramic views of the Priorat vineyards and mountains. It is a place that feels both refined and relaxed.
Chef Josep Queralt, a young talent from Ulldecona, leads the kitchen. He has been named Best Chef of Camp de Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre. His cooking is a contemporary interpretation of traditional Catalan cuisine, driven by seasonal, local ingredients and a km 0 philosophy. The restaurant’s Michelin Recommended distinction reflects this commitment to quality.
Vinum serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu offers tasting menus, wine pairings curated by an experienced sommelier, and à la carte options. Every dish is designed to highlight the authentic flavours of the Priorat region, with an emphasis on produce sourced from nearby farms and producers. The bar provides a lighter alternative, with craft coffee, creative cocktails, local wines, and tapas.
The contemporary menu changes with the seasons, always rooted in the land. Diners can expect a modern take on Catalan classics, presented with precision and clarity. The wine list naturally focuses on the great Priorat vintages, making the pairing an integral part of the meal.
