The story
Chef Tony is the owner and chef behind the iconic Sea Harbour Seafood Restaurant in Rosemead, California, and a celebrated dim sum restaurant in Vancouver. His newest Southern California venture brings his signature style to Arcadia, offering traditional dim sum and artistic Cantonese cuisine.
The Arcadia location, situated at 1108 S. Baldwin Avenue, carries forward Chef Tony’s commitment to fresh, high-quality dim sum. The menu features a variety of handmade classics and creative presentations. Among the standouts are the Shrimp Dumpling with Gold Leaf on top ($9.80), Pan Grilled Pork & Pandan Bun ($6.58), Chicken Salad with Black Truffle ($20.80/half), and Stir-fried Rice Noodle with Beef ($14.80).
Regulars point to the black truffle dumplings, deep-fried Chinese donuts with shrimp, and chicken congee as favorites. One reviewer praised the chicken feet, calling them “a little spicy…yet sweet…and very juicy.” Another noted the cod casserole and string beans as must-orders. The restaurant’s takeout service is also popular, with validated parking available.
In 2026, Chef Tony earned a Michelin Recommended distinction, a testament to the restaurant’s consistency and the chef’s mastery of Cantonese dim sum tradition. Whether for a leisurely dim sum lunch or a full dinner, the Arcadia spot delivers the same refined flavors that have made Chef Tony a name in Chinese cuisine.
