The story
In Atlanta’s Grant Park neighborhood, Bomb Biscuit Co. turns out the kind of breakfast and brunch that earned it a spot on the New York Times’ 2023 Restaurant List and, in 2026, a Michelin Bib Gourmand for good quality, good value cooking.
Owner Erika Council started Bomb Biscuits in 2016 as a pop-up Sunday Supper series around Atlanta. A collaboration with B’s Cracklin BBQ led to a breakfast service, then catering. In 2020, she opened a 450-square-foot brick-and-mortar kitchen in the historic Old 4th Ward. The tiny space quickly outgrew its walls, and Bomb Biscuit Co. now operates in a larger location in Grant Park, making thousands of biscuits a week from scratch.
The menu focuses on breakfast and brunch staples built around the biscuit. The Classic—bacon, egg, and cheese—is a bestseller, as is the Hot Honey Fried Chicken Biscuit and the Country Ham Biscuit. The OG Cinnamon Roll, served in-store, is another fan favorite. Everything is made fresh daily. The team’s motto, “Spread Love Like Butter,” captures the spirit of the place.
The Bib Gourmand recognition from Michelin acknowledges Bomb Biscuit Co.’s ability to deliver consistently satisfying food at a reasonable price. Whether you stop in for a quick takeaway or sit down to a leisurely brunch, the biscuits are the reason to come—and they live up to the hype.
