The story
Since opening its doors in April 2008, Angelina's Ristorante has become a cornerstone of Southwest Florida's fine dining scene. Located on Tamiami Trail in Bonita Springs, this Mediterranean-inspired restaurant welcomes guests with complimentary valet and a promise of incomparable experiences. More than a decade later, it remains one of the region's most awarded dining destinations, driven by a passion for delivering what the team calls "Unmatched Fine Italian."
The experience begins as live piano music drifts through the dining rooms. The centerpiece of the space is a spectacular 30-foot refrigerated wine tower holding more than 4,000 bottles from around the world—a visual statement of the restaurant's dedication to wine. The service staff is meticulously trained, and sommeliers provide experienced recommendations tailored to individual tastes. A business casual dress code ensures the refined atmosphere is respected by all guests.
Angelina's has held the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence since 2012, a testament to the depth and quality of its wine program. The list, curated by in-house sommeliers, spans global regions and vintages, offering pairings for every course. This award places Angelina's among an elite group of restaurants worldwide, and it is also the only Golden Spoon awardee in Bonita Springs.
The kitchen, led by an Executive Chef, uses classic, top-of-the-line ingredients imported directly from Italy. While the menu changes seasonally, the commitment to traditional Italian hospitality remains constant. Monthly wine dinners feature custom-crafted four- or five-course meals with specially selected wines. These events blend education and enjoyment, with staff guiding guests through each course and wine pairing.
