The story
At Miami WorldCenter, Brasserie Laurel exists as two sides of the same coin. By day, it’s Café Laurel — a sunny, vibrant retreat where Parisian charm meets Miami ease. Born from Chef Michael Beltran and the Ariete Hospitality Group, this is a third space designed for lingering: a spot to prop open a laptop over a Cuban sandwich croissant, or to settle in for an unhurried lunch of steak frites.
The menu reimagines café classics with tropical flair. Think double-patty burgers with Chug sauce, smashed avocado sandwiches, hearty chicken rice bowls, and breakfast pastries that bridge the morning into the afternoon. The cuisine is a natural fusion of Cuban and French influences — a Cuban sandwich given the croissant treatment, for instance — and every dish is made for relaxed, unhurried moments. Open daily from 9AM to 5PM, Café Laurel also offers takeaway and delivery via DoorDash.
But on select holidays and exclusive evenings, the space transforms. Brasserie Laurel returns to its original form: a curated, reservation-only dining experience featuring elevated French dishes. These one-night-only activations are the restaurant’s way of keeping something special alive, and they’ve earned the attention of the Michelin guide, which named Brasserie Laurel a Michelin Recommended restaurant in 2026.
Whether you’re stopping by for a morning pastry or a rare evening tasting menu, Brasserie Laurel delivers French-inspired comfort with a Miami soul.
