The story
The menu changes with the seasons. Guests can build their own tasting experience with the Market Menu ($150), a dynamic selection of ingredients from North American sea, land, and forest—vibrant produce, pristine seafood, and carefully chosen proteins. A shorter progression includes snacks, an appetizer, main course, and dessert, with extra ingredients available for an additional charge. For those who prefer to let the kitchen lead, the Field Guide ($250) is an omakase-style tasting menu that captures the essence of ILIS, from timeless dishes that shaped its early days to new expressions guiding the restaurant forward. Both menus are available with beverage pairings that blend cocktails, spirits, wine, and sake.
The restaurant also features a 14-seat bar open for walk-ins, with a rotating à la carte menu available at the bar and in the lounge. This Scandinavian-inspired American restaurant has earned a Michelin recommendation and a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, reflecting its commitment to both food and an interesting wine list. It is a place where the cooking itself is the centerpiece, and the atmosphere is defined by the open kitchen and the warmth of the wood fire.
