The story
Superiority Burger opened its doors on June 25, 2015, at 430 East 9th Street in Manhattan’s East Village. On April 1, 2023, it relocated around the corner to 119 Avenue A, settling across the street from Tompkins Square Park. The restaurant describes itself as a proudly lacto-ovo vegetarian spot with a sizable number of vegan menu options. It also operates a full bar and bakes much of its own bread in-house.
