The story
Osteria Padre Pio is the vision of Chef Andrea Ingenito, an Amalfi Coast native who believes authentic Italian food can only come from those who grew up immersed in it. With decades of experience in kitchens from Napoli to Spain to New York, Chef Andrea brings passion and quality to every dish. “It’s about never cutting corners,” he says. “Never compromising. Always cooking with fresh ingredients and exciting recipes.” The restaurant’s new home at 97 Lake Street in West Harrison offers a bigger and better space for what Westchester Magazine calls “the closest thing to Italy.”
The Michelin Guide has recognised Osteria Padre Pio as a Recommended restaurant, praising Chef Andrea’s “supremely dedicated” approach to offering a true Campanian experience. The kitchen leans heavily on the traditions of Italy’s Campania region, with a cuisine that highlights bold, sun-drenched flavours. The menu changes with the seasons—a winter menu, for instance, introduces new ideas and fresh ingredients to carry guests through the colder months. An interesting wine list complements the food, and the restaurant now offers valet parking for a seamless arrival. Outdoor seating is also available for warmer days.
Whether it’s a holiday party, a family Easter lunch, or a quiet dinner for two, Osteria Padre Pio is open seven days a week (closed Tuesdays as of May 2026). The atmosphere balances rustic charm with polished service, making it a favourite among Westchester locals. Private parties can be arranged at custom times. For reservations of four or more, a credit card is required to hold the table—a policy that ensures the ten coveted tables run smoothly. As the Michelin Guide notes, “there’s a reason why locals keep coming back.”
